Dr. Lampros and Dr. Reopelle are board-certified orthodontists. Board certification is the final step in a long, intensive educational process demanding hundreds of additional hours of study and training. During this part of training, an orthodontist will demonstrate that they have the judgment, skills, and knowledge in order to provide the highest level of patient care. Board certification is a distinctive honor and is given after a thorough examination by an expert panel evaluating orthodontic knowledge and clinical skills. Only about 30% of orthodontists are board certified.
